As summer approaches, our AGF Rebar unit in Vancouver is getting ready to start three new projects that will keep our teams busy over the next few months. These mandates involve municipal and road infrastructure in the cities of Burnaby and Surrey.
Goring wastewater pump station in Burnaby
AGF will contribute to the construction of the Goring wastewater pump station in Burnaby, which is part of the broader Holdom Overpass project. This future overpass will extend Holdom Avenue over the rail corridor and Still Creek to connect with Douglas Road. On-site rebar installation is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
Highway No. 1 – Kensington off-ramp settlement remediation in Burnaby
Also in Burnaby, AGF will work on stabilizing the Kensington off-ramp. The work includes removing the pavement down to the foundation level and installing reinforced concrete panels. Our teams are set to begin work in July 2025.
Newton pump station replacement in Surrey
In Surrey, AGF will take part in the replacement of the Newton pump station. This new facility will ensure continued water service for the area. Rebar work is expected to start in September 2025.
Wishing our Vancouver team great success on these upcoming projects!
