Le Sherbrooke condo tower

The AGF Group is playing a crucial role in the Le Sherbrooke condo project, located in the “Mille carré doré” in the heart of Montreal. This 25-storey tower, built in collaboration with Broccolini, will feature a total of 515 prestigious condominiums.

This large-scale project is distinguished by its degree of complexity and the need to employ specific techniques, notably cantilevered retaining walls. These gravity-defying structures support parts of the building above the void. The project also benefits from our expertise in post-tensioning to reinforce the structure’s solidity while optimizing the use of interior space. In all, some 4,000 metric tons of reinforcing steel are required for this project.

Currently in the execution phase, this project mobilizes between 10 and 25 employees on site, depending on requirements. Recent weeks have seen the completion of the post-tensioning phase, a key stage in the progress of the project. The next step will be to continue building the structure, at a rate of one storey per week.
