Lighting up the Jacques Cartier Bridge

We’re pleased and proud to announce that AGF Access Group is playing a key role in a huge project: installing lights on the Jacques Cartier Bridge.

An iconic symbol of the city, the bridge will be illuminated for Montreal’s 375th anniversary in 2017, using an innovative and creative concept called Living Connections. The dynamic lighting will reflect the city’s changing moods, but there’s no doubt this is a monumental undertaking.

AGF Access Montreal will be installing the 26 access systems that use suspended scaffolding, at pillar 25 on both the upstream and downstream sides of the bridge. This will enable workers to access the designated sections of the bridge to install the lights. Work began in October 2016 and will wrap up in April 2017.

Iluminación del Puente Jacques-Cartier

Es con gran placer y orgullo que les compartimos la noticia: el Grupo AGF Accès ahora forma parte integrante de un proyecto de gran envergadura para iluminar el puente Jacques-Cartier.

Símbolo importante del paisaje urbano de Montreal, el puente Jacques-Cartier se iluminará en el 2017 gracias al concepto innovador y creativo de conectividad animada. Será un atractivo dinámico y artístico que estremecerá a la ciudad, pero que representa, sin duda, un trabajo enorme.

AGF Accès, Montreal, instalará los 26 sistemas de acceso, tipo andamiaje volado, en el pilar 25, del lado superior e inferior. Los trabajadores podrán de esta manera tener acceso a las secciones designadas del puente para las instalaciones del alumbrado. El trabajo inició en octubre de 2016 y continuará hasta abril de 2017.
