Recovering water resources in Erin

The town of Erin in Ontario is embarking on a major project to recover wastewater, and AGF is participating!

With this wastewater treatment system, Erin will be able to pursue the development that is vital to its future. It will also have a positive impact on the economy.

The goals:

• Expand its growth. Erin hopes to at least double its population by 2040.
• Replace and maintain its infrastructure with tax revenues brought in by residents and businesses.
• Increase funding for schools to give children the opportunity to succeed.

Our involvement

Our teams are responsible for supplying and installing rebar on the site.
The project includes total of 12 buildings, representing a total of 1,788 metric tons of steel.
Construction began in August 2022 and is slated for completion in December 2024.

Recuperación de los recursos hídricos en Erin

La ciudad de Erin, en Ontario, emprendió un gran proyecto de recuperación de aguas residuales ¡en el cual participa AGF!

La instalación de un sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales permitirá emprender un desarrollo esencial para el futuro. También tendrá efectos positivos en la economía.

Los objetivos:

• Desarrollar su crecimiento. Erin espera por lo menos duplicar su población de aquí al 2040.
• Reemplazar y mantener sus infraestructuras gracias a los ingresos fiscales de los residentes y de las empresas instaladas.
• Incrementar el financiamiento de sus escuelas para darles a los niños la posibilidad de tener éxito.

Nuestra participación

Nuestros equipos están a cargo del abastecimiento y de la instalación de barras de refuerzo en la obra.

La obra comprende en total doce edificios que construir, por un total de 1788 t de acero.

En cuanto a los plazos: el proyecto inició en agosto del 2022 y terminará en diciembre del 2024.
