Whitla Wind Farm: Up Next…

In May 2019, AGF Reinforcing began the “Whitla Wind” project, a wind farm located in Forty Mile County in southern Alberta. Today, we are proud to announce that AGF Reinforcing has been awarded phases 2 and 3. This will represent the construction of 42 additional bases for approximately 2090MT of reinforcing steel.

Work for AGF should start around late May / early June 2021 and end at the end of August.

When finalized, Whitla Wind Farm will become Alberta’s largest wind facility. The Calgary team is delighted to take part in this major project and can’t wait to get started!
