The Nicol Building at Carleton University is an expression of the vision of the Nicol family and, most importantly, the late Wes Nicol*. This building houses the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.
A beautiful 1,535 metric ton project and a first-time participant in the “BubbleDeck” installation (a patented technique of integrating air, steel and concrete into a double-deck structural slab).
Hollow plastic balls are inserted into the slab and held in place by reinforcing steel.
